- Full cost
- Event rate from $165 for up to 4 days, or $145 for 7 days. Past a week, $185 per 28 days.
Which short-term rate fits your dates?
Short-term rentals use one of two rates. A gathering of 1 to 4 days uses the event rate, from $165 for a standard unit. A work need of up to 7 days, such as a remodel or septic repair, uses the short-job rate, from $145 with one service visit. Past 7 days, the 28-day rate costs less.
| Your need | Rate to use | Service included | Standard unit from | Pickup |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| One-day party or weekend gathering | Event rate, up to 4 days | Arrives clean, no visit | $165 | Next business day, automatic |
| Remodel, septic repair or roof job, up to a week | Short-job rate, up to 7 days | 1 service visit | $145 | On your end date |
| Job that may run 2 weeks or more | 28-day rate | Weekly service | $185 | When you text, 1 business day ahead |
Prices are before 6% PA sales tax. Delivery and pickup is one charge per order: $49 in the Erie core zone, $69–$99 elsewhere in Erie County. Ask for the 7-day price on flushing and accessible units.
The event rate is built for guests, with a unit that arrives fresh and leaves right after. The short-job rate is built for daily use by a household or crew, so it includes a cleaning partway through.

Is a short-term rental cheaper than paying for a full month?
A short-term rental is cheaper than a full month only when the job truly ends within 7 days. A 4-day roof job costs from $145 on the short-job rate, against $185 for a 28-day cycle. A 2-week job would need two short-job weeks at $290, so the $185 monthly rate wins.
| Job length | Short-job rate | 28-day rate | Cheaper choice |
|---|---|---|---|
| 3 to 7 days | $145 | $185 | Short-job rate |
| 8 to 14 days | $290 (two weeks) | $185 | 28-day rate |
| 15 to 28 days | $435 or more | $185 | 28-day rate |
Standard unit starting prices, before delivery and 6% PA sales tax. Delivery and pickup is charged once either way.
When the end date is a guess, start on the 28-day rate. The extra cleanings and the room to run over cost less than a second week. See how monthly porta potty billing works.
What short jobs is a 7-day rental good for?
A 7-day porta potty rental fits home jobs that take your only bathroom out of service for a few days, or bring a crew you do not want in the house. Common fits are a bathroom remodel, a failed septic system, a roof tear-off and a few days of yard or siding work.
Septic failure or sewer line repair
When the septic quits, the house cannot flush until it is pumped or fixed. A unit in the driveway the same day keeps the family going. If the repair turns into a full replacement, switch to the monthly rate.
Bathroom remodel
A single-bath home needs a backup while the toilet is out. A flushing porta potty with a sink feels closer to home for a family. Read our guide to a porta potty for a home remodel or septic repair.
Roofing and exterior work
A crew of 4 or 5 for a few days needs one standard porta potty set clear of the dumpster and the drip edge. Larger crews and longer jobs belong on the construction site rental plan.
A party during the week
A one-day party, even midweek, uses the event rate. Planning one? See party porta potty planning.
Can you extend a short-term rental if the job runs long?
A short-term rental can be extended with one call before your end date. Shawn moves the unit to 28-day billing with weekly service, and the unit stays in place with no second delivery charge. Call a day or two before the 7 days are up so the next cleaning lands on time.
Plans can shrink too. If the plumber finishes early, text us and the unit comes back on the next route. Cancelling before delivery is free up to 24 hours ahead.
How fast can a short-term porta potty arrive?
A short-term porta potty can arrive the same day when you order by 11 a.m., Monday to Saturday, in Erie, Millcreek, Harborcreek, Fairview, Summit, Lawrence Park and Wesleyville. There is no rush fee in that zone. Other Erie County towns can get same-day when the route allows, for a flat $50 rush fee.
You do not need to be home. Mark the spot or text a photo with it circled. The driver texts about 30 minutes before arrival.
Driveways are the usual spot, on flat, firm ground the truck can reach. Each unit arrives pumped, scrubbed and stocked with paper and sanitizer.

Short-term rental questions
These short-term questions come down to days, fees and timing. Can you rent for one day, is it priced per day, what does a weekend emergency look like, and what is charged at the end. Each answer starts with the fact, and the full price is always quoted before you pay.
Can I rent a porta potty for just one day?
A one-day rental uses the event rate, from $165 for a standard unit. That price covers drop-off to pickup, up to 4 days, so a one-day and a three-day rental cost the same.
Is the price per day?
Prices are per rental, not per day. The event rate covers up to 4 days, the short-job rate up to 7 days, and the monthly rate 28 days. Pick the one that matches your end date.
My septic backed up on a Saturday. Can you bring one today?
The office is open Saturday from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Order by 11 a.m. and the unit arrives the same day in the Erie core zone. After 11 a.m., if the route is full, it goes on Monday's route.
Is there a fee when you pick it back up?
There is no removal fee. The delivery and pickup charge covers the round trip and is paid once per order. There is no fuel surcharge or card fee either.
Does the 7-day rate work for a flushing or accessible unit?
The listed 7-day rate is for a standard unit. Call (814) 245-2757 for the weekly price on a flushing or wheelchair-accessible unit. Shawn quotes it on the call.
