How is a seasonal porta potty rental priced?
A seasonal porta potty rental is priced at the monthly rate: from $185 per 28 days for a standard unit, with weekly service included. Count the 28-day cycles between your start and end dates. A marina season from May 1 to October 15 is 168 days, or 6 cycles, about $1,110 plus delivery.
| Placement | Example season | Days | 28-day cycles | Standard unit, from |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Little league field | April 15 to July 15 | 92 | 4 | $740 |
| Marina or boat launch | May 1 to October 15 | 168 | 6 | $1,110 |

Prices are before 6% PA sales tax and the one-time delivery and pickup charge. A league or park ordering 3 or more units gets 10% off the units. A wheelchair-accessible unit is from $245 per 28 days.
Billing stops at the end of the cycle you are in when you call for pickup. So pick an end date near the end of a cycle. The harvest example ends on day 56 to fit exactly 2 cycles.

Which places need a seasonal porta potty?
Seasonal porta potties serve places that get steady visitors for months but have no restroom building nearby. Ball fields, marinas, boat launches, parks, campgrounds, golf courses and farm markets are the usual fits. Each one needs weekly service, firm ground the truck can reach, and a plan for public use overnight.
Ball fields and little league
Set the unit between the field and the parking lot, on a firm spot the truck can reach without crossing the outfield. Tournament weekends can add event units. Two units let teams split men's and women's.
Marinas and boat launches
Lakefront spots catch strong gusts off Lake Erie. We stake or anchor units near the water so a windy night does not tip one. Keep the spot clear of trailer turning lanes at the launch.
Parks and campgrounds
Parks need a wheelchair-accessible unit beside the standard one. Campgrounds often add a handwashing station near the pavilion or the camp store.
Golf courses
An on-course unit near the turn needs a cart-path spot the service truck can reach. Pick firm ground clear of irrigation heads.
Farm markets and harvest season in North East
Grape harvest around North East, PA brings field crews for weeks. OSHA's farm rule, 29 CFR 1928.110, calls for 1 toilet and 1 handwashing facility per 20 workers within a quarter-mile walk. Farm stands open to the public need a clean unit near parking.
Do public fields and parks need an accessible unit?
Public fields and parks should have at least 1 wheelchair-accessible unit in each group of portable toilets. The 2010 ADA Standards, section 213.2, require at least 5% of portable units in each cluster to be accessible where toilets are provided. One standard unit plus one accessible unit is the usual setup for a single field.
The accessible unit needs a flat, firm spot about 8 by 8 feet, with a ground-level entry and room to turn. Read the rule on the U.S. Access Board site.
A free lock hasp lets the league or park lock units overnight. Vandalism, fire and graffiti are charged to the renter, so a lock and a spot in view of the road both help.

Can you keep a porta potty out all winter?
A porta potty can stay out all winter in Erie with a non-freezing brine charge in the tank from November through March. Weekly service continues. Christmas tree lots, ice fishing access, sledding hills and winter work yards all use winter seasonal rentals. You keep a shoveled path to the door.
Snow placement. Keep the unit out of plow piles and away from roof drip lines. Erie gets around 100 inches of lake-effect snow a season, so pick a spot the driver can reach after a storm. See the winter porta potty guide.
How do you start and end a seasonal rental?
A seasonal rental starts with one call: your dates, the spot and how many units. The unit arrives on your start date, gets weekly service all season, and bills every 28 days. To end the season, text or call 1 business day before you want it gone. Units are not picked up automatically.

Seasonal rental questions
These seasonal questions come from leagues, marinas, parks and farm stands planning the year: short league seasons, repeat summers, discounts, busy weekends and vandalism. Each answer starts with the fact. Call Shawn in late winter to set spring dates before the fields open.
Can I rent two units for a 9-week softball league?
Two standard units on the monthly rate cover a 9-week league. Nine weeks is 63 days, which runs into a third 28-day cycle. That is 3 cycles at $185 for each unit, or $1,110, plus delivery and 6% sales tax.
I keep one from June through September every year. Can you set that up?
Call each spring with your dates and the same spot, and the unit arrives on your start date. June 1 to September 20 is 112 days, exactly 4 cycles. Billing ends when you call for pickup.
Is there a discount for a whole season?
Every cycle bills at the same monthly rate. Leagues with 3 or more units on the order get 10% off those units. Tax-exempt leagues and parks send a certificate and pay no sales tax.
Can you service the unit right after weekend tournaments?
Tell Shawn your busiest days and the weekly visit is planned around them when the route allows. For a big tournament, book an extra visit at $45 per unit, or add event units for the weekend.
Who pays if vandals tip the unit over at the park?
Damage from vandalism, fire or graffiti is charged to the renter at repair or replacement cost. Ask for a free lock hasp and set the unit where neighbors and passing cars can see it.
